    Pick of the Day 03/31/10:

    “25 Years”

    by Harper Blynn

You might remember the band Harper Blynn from their days as Pete and J but their debut album, Loneliest Generation, adds a few of their friends to their sound. Sarab Singh and Whynot join Pete Harper and J. Blynn to create a dynamic sound that will flow through your ears and into your head where it will probably stay for quite a while!  Their steadily flowing beats pair perfectly with their heartfelt lyrics.  The New York Post called them one of the top six acts to watch in 2010!

    J. Blynn grew up in Philadephia and got his musical start as a choir boy.  Sarab singh, not locally born, moved to Philadelphia when he was five years old.  The two have been playing together since the age of 12 while Pete and J started out doing open mic nights at World Cafe Live!

You can download their single “Centrifugal Motion” from Paste Magazine’s blog!
