In XPN-world, funk-soul brother Mayer Hawthorne can do no wrong. Last year’s debut album by Mayer – A Strange Arrangement was an XPN listeners’ faves. Mayer’s got a new song featured on a split 7-inch single with his label mate James Pants in which Mayer covers Pants’ “Thin Moon” with Pants covering Mayer’s “Green Eyed Love.”

Mayer returns to town tonight playing the The First Unitarian Church. Come on out for some Tuesday nite funk.
