As I mentioned on the XPN Morning Show, after 13 years Ben Folds Five have returned to the studio and hope to have a brand new album on this spring. Ben Tweeted that he, Robert Sledge & Darren Jesse have been working diligently on the trio’s 4th studio album (their first since 1999′s “The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner”) Last year Ben Folds Five released a career retrospective album (that included 3 new songs) called, “The Best Imitation of Myself”.
