My Introduction to Steely Dan

In sixth grade, I was putting together plans for a sleepover with a few girls in my class. I didn’t have much music then, so I took my GE cassette tape player and started taping songs off the radio, background noise and all. One of the first songs I taped was “Do It Again” by Steely Dan, which I hadn’t heard before that night. My friends weren’t too impressed, but that night began a love for Steely Dan and their music that continues to this day. They’re my default band to listen to, always.
