1990 Academy Awards

Usually the Academy Award nominees for Best Song were pretty lame…but that night “Blaze of Glory” was nominated from “Young Guns 2,” and Bon Jovi was going to perform it. I have looked high and low for a video of the performance, to no avail. In my memory, it was just Jon and Richie on stage, and they rocked that song SO HARD. I remember the guitar solo especially, Richie was going off on it, and I remember thinking, “Boy, they’ve never heard anything like THIS at the Oscars.”
In my memory, they win the Oscar too, but sadly, they didn’t really. If anyone knows if there’s a video of the performance, I would love to see how well I remember it.
