Having been a big Mark Knopfler fan ever since “Sultans of Swing” (still one of the greatest pieces of music ever), I was very excited to be heading to Philadelphia with my husband and two other couples. Mark put on a fantastic performance that just swept us away. By the end of the concert, my friend, who was very pregnant at the time, and I were ready to trade in our lives just to have the job of the guy who handed guitars to Mark over the course of the evening. It was weeks before I listened to anyone else, including XPN.
