Beatles Medley on “The Carol Burnett Show”

I’m sure that most people will have the “Ed Sullivan Show” as their introduction to The Beatles, but for me it was “The Carol Burnett Show” a few years after they had broken up. I knew about a half dozen songs as Beatle songs before that, “She Loves You,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Let it Be,” and a few others. But listening to the revue, I was amazed to learn that I knew every song and that I liked them all. Thus, the Red and Blue albums became two of my first albums, and today I own everything The Beatles ever made on CD.
