Country superstars and sisters alike, Martie Maguire and Emily Robison of the Dixie Chicks are back with a new sound as the country/folk duo Court Yard Hounds. The duo released their eponymous debut album in May of 2010 and debuted at number 7 on the Billboard charts. The acclaimed album featured Robinson on lead vocals for the first time in their career. The band released the EP “Sunshine” in June, which preludes their upcoming full-length album, Amelita. The record is set to drop on July 16, just in time for their Free at Noon show at WXPN and World Cafe Live. The duo will be on the road this summer, including a stop in Chicago at Lollapalooza on August 3.
