Tortoise’s Jeff Parker and Steve Gunn are touring together, playing Ardmore Music Hall in December

Two beloved experimental guitarists and composers will head out on a collaborative, co-headlining tour this December: Jeff Parker of the long-running post-rock band Tortoise, and Lansdowne native Steve Gunn, a favorite of the folk-tinged indie / psychedelic world.

Beginning in Parker’s hometown of Chicago on December 2nd, the show comes to Ardmore Music Hall on December 17th for its penultimate date, and tickets are on sale now.

Concert announcements at this point are subject to change due to the uncertainty of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, and fans are encouraged to check the COVID safety guidelines on the venue’s website. As of May 4th, Ardmore’s rules revolve around wearing masks, social distancing, and consuming food and drink at your table only. In an interview with The Key last month, Ardmore Music Hall’s Chris Perella said the fall “feels like forever from now, so we’re not trying to predict anything COVID-related at this time; we will follow safety guidelines & industry trends, to ensure maximum safety and comfort for fans & artists alike.”
