Fall Arts Preview
Every year we look ahead to the arts and cultural fall season with the Fall Arts Preview on the XPN Morning Show. This year, the features will air September 8-11, 2009. Be sure to tune in as Michaela Majoun puts the spotlight on a variety of visual and performing arts in our area.

A relatively new alliance of organizations in North Philadelphia in and around North Broad Street. The alliance is new. However, many of the groups have been around for a while and there's a lot going on in that area.

A mainstay of the Philadelphia dance community since 1981, their fall season is busy with workshops, dance concerts, and a developing choreographers' residency program.

A non-profit repertory theater company devoted to reviving the classics. EgoPo moved to Philadelphia from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. They're doing a Samuel Beckett Festival starting with performances of "Company" in September.

A new cultural center which is being developed in an old factory in Fishtown. It has artist studios and community space built around a giant gallery/performance space at its heart. The inaugural exhibition starting at the end of October features the work of cutting edge New York sculptor Jason Heckenwerth, whose medium is balloons!
