(5-20 hours per week, plus attending basketball games)

Duties: Write, produce, and edit voice-related production pieces for broadcast during University of Pennsylvania men and women's basketball games. Interns will learn the SAW Digital Editing System and the setup of remote ISDN broadcast equipment, and will use these skills during live broadcasts. Opportunities to assist with production of the XPN Sports website are also available.
Positions include: On-air personalities for pre-game and post-game shows, play-by-play and color commentators, studio anchor, sideline reporter, stats persons, and general sports reporters. Both women and men are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications: Must be a Penn Student to apply! Candidate must have a strong interest in sports and/or radio production and on-air performance. A working knowledge and an interest in Penn basketball is encouraged. S/he must have a willingness to learn computer-related radio production techniques and on-air styles. Candidate must be able to work well under deadline pressures and be equally competent in either a group or individual work environment. Applicants must be willing to travel with teams to away games, which may include overnight stays. Having a car is a plus.
