NPR Music travels to the Gorge Amphitheatre in central Washington state, for live coverage of the annual Sasquatch Music Festival on Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 29, and 30. The broadcast will feature performances by approximately 100 acts, including headliners Modest Mouse, Foo Fighters, Wilco and Death Cab For Cutie. Also participating in the coverage are KEXP, Oregon Public Broadcasting's opbmusic, Minnesota Public Radio's The Current, and KUT in Austin.
Note:
The live broadcast will air from Saturday, May 28 to Monday, May 30, beginning at 3pm ET/noon PT each day, with wrap up coverage at 2:30am/11:30pm PT ET each night. A Sasquatch-branded embeddable module will carry a Sasquatch preview mix until Saturday, May 28, at 3pm ET when live coverage begins. When not in live coverage, the module will revert to the Sasquatch preview mix. Note: NPR Music will NOT scrub the audio for language. |
