On-air and online guide will feature host Michaela Majoun’s picks and special guest interviews
- WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple-A music and non-commercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, is also a leading guide to the arts in the Philadelphia area. XPN Morning Show host Michaela Majoun will present 30 Days of Philly Arts, a daily on-air and online guide to essential area arts events to see, hear and do during September.
Every weekday morning, Michaela will announce an arts event that will also be posted on The Key
blog. Local artists and arts producers will also appear in on-air/online features.
Michaela says, "This is a way to bring attention to a lot more of the local arts organizations and artists than I could with the Friday Morning Arts Crawl feature and spring and fall arts previews that I've been doing for years. I want to incorporate artist profiles into the mix to round out our glimpse of the amazing arts scene in Philadelphia and our entire area."
30 Days of Arts and Culture is just one of the many ways in which WXPN recognizes, supports and promotes music and other arts events taking place throughout the greater Philadelphia area. More details can be found at TheKey.xpn.org
