XPN Partners with Critically Acclaimed Website Daytrotter to Produce Weekly Radio Show

PHILADELPHIA Pa., WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Album Adult Alternative) music and a noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania today announced a partnership to create a weekly radio show with Daytrotter, a critically acclaimed art and music website based in Rock Island, Illinois. The new show, “Daytrotter Radio,” will premier May 7th at 10:30pm on WXPN and will be hosted by Daytrotter founder Sean Moeller.

WXPN Releases XPN Local, Volume 2 CD Release Party to be Held at World Cafe Live

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., - WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Album Adult Alternative) music and noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania is releasing its second compilation of local artists titled XPN LOCAL, VOLUME 2. The CD will be available as a membership thank you gift starting April 15 for a pledge of $75. WXPN will also make CDs available at its CD Release Party on Thursday, May 1, 2008. The Party is free and open to the general public.

Non-COMMvention Expands to Four Days, Moves to Philadelphia May 2008

Registration Begins Monday January 7, Features All-time Lowest Fees

PHILADELPHIA, PA., - WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Album Adult Alternative) music and a non-commercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania today announced that the NON-COMMvention will move to its new home in Philadelphia at WXPN/World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street and the Inn at Penn, 3600 Walnut Street and be held May 28th-31. The convention also expands from three to four days. Registration for this event begins Monday, January 7.

Kids Corner Celebrates 20 Years on WXPN Philadelphia Institution Marks Anniversary January 4

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - WXPN, the nationally recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and a noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, today announced that Kids Corner is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
