WXPN Events
There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer for WXPN. From Fund Drive, to Free At Noon shows, to XPN Welcomes events, and the annual summer music festival, XPN can always use your help.

Fund Drives
Volunteers answer phones during the fund drive, take donations and provide membership information to callers during WXPN's on-air membership drives. Phone volunteers must be comfortable with entering pledges online, and have basic keyboard proficiency. Shifts are usually scheduled for 3-4 hours at a time, and food and beverages are provided. So, take advantage of a great oppurtunity to get involved with the WXPN community. You'll meet our radio hosts who broadcast live from the Fund Drive Room. Give something back and volunteer today.

XPN is always interested in new volunteers for fund drives, events and Free at Noon concerts. To volunteer complete the volunteer form.

Free Concerts at Noon -
Free At Noon (FAN)
(midday Fridays)
FAN Volunteers need to be available on Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Volunteers set up the registration table, assist XPN staff with meeting and greeting the artist, check-in the concertgoers, clean up at the end. An interview with the volunteer coordinator may be required in order to become a FAN volunteer.

Parking for Free at Noon Concerts
Parking volunteers need to be available on Fridays from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm. This volunteer opportunity is for those who love the outdoors regardless of the weather!  We need volunteers to assist guests to the free parking spaces in the rain, snow, sleet or sun. Volunteers maximize the number of spots available - without parking anyone in!

XPN Welcome Events
(evenings and weekends)
"XPN Welcomes" Volunteers are our extended staff representatives at "XPN Welcomes" events and other concerts. They hand out XPN literature, sign up potential members to receive the XPN E-Newsletter, and generally are there to promote the radio station. This is one of our most popular volunteer opportunities. In order to be eligible to volunteer for an XPN Welcome Event you need to be at least 21 years old, and have volunteered at two of our major events (Fund Drive and/or the Music Festival). An additional interview with the Marketing Team at WXPN is required. If you are selected by the Marketing Team to become a Welcomes Volunteer, you will need to attend training before representing XPN at Welcomes Concerts.

Central PA XPN Welcomes Events
Central PA "XPN Welcomes" Volunteers are our extended staff representatives at "XPN Welcomes" events and other concerts. WXPN Musicians On Call
WXPN has partnered with Musicians On Call, a new community-outreach program in the Philadelphia and Camden area. WXPN Musicians On Call brings live music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities throughout the region. We are looking for Musicians and Volunteers.

Or download & print the PDF First Time Volunteer Form (100K) and mail or fax (215-573-2152) it to us. Once received, we can match your skills and preferences with the activities best suited to your interests. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer for WXPN Fund Drives and 21 to work XPN Welcomes concerts.
