Sun Airway Philadelphia's electronic pop band, Sun Airway, have a new album coming out on October 2 called Soft Fall and they will be here on Friday, September 21 for an XPN Free At Noon.

“Sun Airway’s music has always had a sense of audio collage to it; chamber string sections peek out like sunbursts, snippets of early electronic music swish and swirl, psychedelic rock rumbles underneath” - so writes John Vettese on The Key.

The work of songwriter and producer Jon Barthmus, Sun Airway released its debut album Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier in 2010. On October 2nd, Sun Airway releases Soft Fall through the Dead Oceans label. The album pulses with shimmering, moody, upbeat electronica reminiscent of New Order and David Bowie’s 1999 classic Low album. Soft Fall surges with washes of colorful energy in the form excellent pop songs.
