Tony Joe White Brings His Wha Wha Pedal And “A Mess O’Polk Salad” Live
Published in Guests
Southern singer and songwriter Tony Joe White has an impressive career stretching back to the late 1960s.

He's been covered by Elvis Presley and Tom Jones, written songs for Tina Turner, worked with Mark Knopfler and released 25 studio and live albums over the past 40-plus years. His most recent outing, Hoodoo, was released on Yep Roc Records in September and the 70-year-old musician says it is inspired in part by the sounds of nature heard at his riverside home just outside of Nashville. He plays World Café Live next Thursday, November 14th, and joins us for Free at Noon the following day.
