Zooey’s onscreen charms has always translated well on record and add to that the comfort of these songs, it’s a natural fit. Matt adds the style points with his wonderful guitar work and an innate coolness as a performer. Unlike their albums, there is an intimacy to this collection in the way that it’s pretty much just Matt & Zooey. In fact, other than Jim Keltner adding a little percussion on a few songs, it is all Matt & Zooey.
