Kids Corner Music Festival Returns to World Cafe Live At The Queen in Wilmington, Delaware on September 22

The most fun kids' event of the year features live music, food & family fun!
PHILADELPHIA, PA - WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and home of the Peabody Award-winning Kids Corner radio show, will present another Kids Corner Music Festival on Saturday, September 22 at World Cafe Live at the Queen in Wilmington, Delaware. Doors open at 10:30 am, and live music performances will begin at 11am.

The Kids Corner Music Festival will be hosted by Kids Corner program host Kathy O’Connell and will feature live music, make-and-take crafts, a lunch buffet provided by World Cafe Live and general family fun. The featured performing artists are known for producing outstanding music for kids, and their music can be heard on KidsCorner.org

“Our Kids Corner Music Festival series has become a highly-anticipated event for the entire family,” said O’Connell. “The kids who listen to Kids Corner really enjoy seeing the artists perform live and love having a concert that is meant for them!”

Tickets for the Kids Corner Music Festival are on sale now for WXPN members at just $8 each, and will go on sale Monday, August 27 to the general public for just $12 each. Tickets are available online or by phone at 1-800-565-WXPN. Space is limited.

Airing weeknights from 7pm to 8pm on WXPN-FM, Kids Corner is WXPN’s live, interactive radio show for children that has earned more than two dozen broadcasting awards. Created in 1988, Kids Corner’s 25th anniversary will be celebrated in 2013. Its primary mission is to provide a stimulating variety of educational and entertaining programs for children ages 6-13. The program also serves as a resource for parents, educators and professionals in child-related fields.
