September 9, 2013 - The Seattle based folk-rock band The Head and The Heart have had a storybook career so far.
The members met in 2009 after moving separately to Seattle. Their debut album, recorded themselves, ended up being their national debut when the band signed to home-town Sub Pop records. That album proved to be enormously popular and now the band is poised to release their new album Let’s Be Still on October 15. We thought, as we wait for the new disc and a second visit from the band, that we give a second listen to that first time the young, fresh band joined us in the studio before all good things happened for them.
