A painter, a baseball scholar, and a NASA technician, the three multi-instrumentalists that comprise The Low Anthem find common ground in the gorgeous music they create that draws from both classical and folk forms and communicates haunting and sentimental narratives of love, history, and science. Ben Knox Miller and Jeff Prystowsky formed a group while attending college at Brown and were later joined by fellow student and classical musician, Jocie Adams. After being rabidly pursued by numerous labels, the grouped signed with Nonesuch. Their latest album is Oh My God, Charlie Darwin, and they toured this spring with both Ray LaMontagne and Elvis Perkins in Dearland.
