Canadian songstress Kathleen Edwards has been playing music since she was 5 years old. After high school, this ex-pat, daughter of a diplomat, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan fan opted to channel her experiences into music. Kathleen Edwards has garnered comparisons to Neil Young and Suzanne Vega. She was nominated for two Juno Awards in 2006 and has worked with the likes of Bryan Adams and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). Her most recent album, Voyager, an XPN Featured Album of the Week, was produced by Justin Vernon, shows a quieter side to Edwards' endearing and quirky song writing. In February, Kathleen Edwards was a guest on
World Cafe with David Dye.
