Dawes

Dawes Dawes released their debut LP North Hills in the fall of 2009, but it was the spring of 2010 that saw the band really begin to break through. Fueled by their success at March’s SXSW, the LA area four-piece is making a name for themselves with soul-bearing and gritty live performances, blending classic 70’s folk-rock with contemporary embellishments and rich folk-pop harmonies. And though Dawes’ members have yet to emerge from their early 20s, their music is surprisingly mature, firmly establishing the band as a musical force to be recognized in the years to come.

Watch Dawes perform "The Way You Laugh" live on stage at the 2012 XPoNential Music Festival!
