J.D. Souther is best known for his ventures in country and rock - the Grammy-nominated songwriter penned many of Linda Ronstadt and The Eagles' biggest hits - but his pedigree is all jazz. In 2009, after a 25-year hiatus, Souther released If The World Was You, which is a study in jazz, Latin and lounge music. His most recent album, Natural History, continues this stylistic exploration and is, as he described "a real crooner album... seductive and sweet."
