Every Thursday through the summer we’re spinning a mix of classics and deep cuts from different eras, themes, and scenes, including Freedom, XPN Unplugged, and The Long and Short of It.
Local musicians Laurin Talese and Zeek Burse spent months researching artifacts, documents, and more at the Museum of the American Revolution to create sonic representations of the nation’s founding and history for the semiquincentennial.
The new Highmark Mann campus features state-of-the-art performance enhancements, sweeping physical renovations, expanded public spaces, immersive storytelling experiences, and artistic installations and its open just in time for the summer performance season.

Jim E. Brown has a unique fascination with Philadelphia and he’s playing three consecutive nights at Johnny Brenda’s in September to kick off his “American Dream Tour.” For this week’s Ears We Trust, he’s getting a bit cheeky.
Back in April, Jack Antonoff played Free At Noon solo as Bleachers. But over the weekend, he brought the full Bleachers band — and even his dad — for a barnburner of a show at The Mann, with Austin-based indie rock duo Hovvdy supporting.
