Frightened Rabbit

Frightened Rabbit Gordon Burniston
June 19 - Frightened Rabbit joins host David Dye in the studio. In 2008 Frightened Rabbit gained fame in indie music circles with the mournful album The Midnight Organ Fight.
2010’s The Winter of Mixed Drinks continued the Scottish band’s momentum in the States with a tour opening for Death Cab for Cutie and much more press. Now Frightened Rabbit has returned with a new disc Pedestrian Verse. Singer Scott Hutchison shares some insights into the inspiration behind his painfully bare lyrics, and he and his brother, drummer Grant Hutchinson, discuss their sometimes contentious working relationship. And the much more light hearted Boy. The Swiss/German duo has already found a large audience at home in Europe, and now, 2 years after they released their debut there, they have brought their music to the US. The ladies discuss how they found their musical match when they met in Hamberg, and play their incredibly catchy song “Little Numbers.”
