Cosmic Guilt, Bonerama, Arthur Thomas and more packed the streets for Wayne Music Festival

The intersection of Wayne Avenue and Lancaster Avenue was alive with music on Saturday, June 10th when the latest edition of the Wayne Music Festival touched down. The free event has been going since 2016 and for its seventh edition it packed the suburban streets with the sounds of roots rock, psychedelic folk, soulful singer-songwriters, electric funk, and indie rock.

This year’s event was headlined by Wheatus and the New Orleans brass band jammers Bonerama, with quirky midwestern singer-songwriter Jessica Lea Mayfield making an appearance too; the local support was the star of the show, though, with Cosmic Guilt, Arthur Thomas and the Funkitorium, and more bringing in vibrant crowds. WXPN’s own Dan Reed even made an appearance, singing for his soft rock cover band Mellow Fever.
