Changes announced for WXPN’s Sleepy Hollow

Chuck Elliott hosted his last weekly Sleepy Hollow last weekend, but he’ll be back as an occasional guest. Keith Kelleher and Julian Booker are taking over hosting duties — plus, other changes to your weekend listening schedule.

This past Saturday marked an important transition for Sleepy Hollow. After more than 50 years with WXPN, Chuck Elliott is stepping back from his regular hosting role. Chuck’s deep knowledge of music and thoughtful, welcoming presence have made Sleepy Hollow a cherished tradition, creating a unique space for reflection and discovery.

While Chuck will no longer host weekly, we’re pleased to share that he will remain an integral part of WXPN, returning periodically for special Sleepy Hollow broadcasts—including hosting this year’s Sleepy Hollow Christmas show on December 25.

As part of our updated weekend schedule, Keith Kelleher will take over hosting duties for Sleepy Hollow on Saturdays starting December 7, and Julian Booker will host the Sunday edition, airing from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning December 8. Dave’s World will follow on Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon.

We’re excited to continue bringing the thoughtful, calming atmosphere listeners have come to love while introducing these weekend updates.
