WXPN’s showcase of the best musical talent in Philly, Homegrown Live!, returns this spring to celebrate our Record Store Day release Homegrown Originals Vol. 3. It’s a FREE concert in The Lounge at World Cafe Live on Wednesday, April 16th, starting at 7:30 p.m..
This special event celebrates Homegrown Originals Vol. 3, which WXPN announced earlier today, by showcasing three artists on the compilation – dd Toby Leaman Trio, the solo project of the co-songwriter and bassist veteran Philly rockers Dr. Dog (who appears on the comp as a band with a cut from their World Cafe Session), singer-songwriter Eliza Hardy Jones, and the psychedelic rock / hip-hop outfit Cadre Noir.
