Created by half-brothers Stony Browder and Thomas “August Darnell” Browder, Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band had a dance hit in 1976 with this song “Cherchez La Femme”.

Darnell and the percussionist from this band, Andy Hernandez, went on to form Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
