Tune in to a mini-concert with Wednesday
Karly Hartzman was inspired to pick up the guitar thanks, in part, to a Tiny Desk Concert from Mitski. Now, Hartzman is the principle songwriter for Wednesday. The band formed in 2017 at the University of North Carolina in Asheville, and the indie-rock outfit has slowly been building a following.

Their latest album, Rat Saw God, was released in April to critical acclaim, so we’ve invited the band to join World Cafe for a mini-concert recorded at our flagship station, WXPN, for the specialty show, Indie Rock Hit Parade.
